Chinese and Russian Scholars Discuss Social and Moral Values Education2018-09-22

On September 23th, the Sino-Russian Symposium on “Social and Moral Values Education” was held at School of Marxism, Wuhan University. The symposium was hosted by the Center for Chinese and Foreign Moral Education of Wuhan University, School of Marxism, Shanghai University and the Department of Humanities, Russian Higher School of Economics, and was co-organized by the Public Diplomacy Institute of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Shanghai University. Nearly 50 experts and scholars from China and Russia as well as representatives of academic magazines attended the seminar.

On this seminar, Professor Nosov Dmitri Mikhailovich, Borus, Jonaya, Anastassia from Higher School of Economics and Chinese scholars from Wuhan University, Shanghai University, Central China Normal University held their discussion around the theme of social and moral values education. From Confucian tradition, Russian philosophy to modern trend of thought, from theoretical interpretation to core construction, moral education and values education along with some other topics were fully discussed. With a concentrated theme and a broad perspective, the seminar ended successfully in an enthusiastic atmosphere.
